Why This Role Exists

We need robust simulation environments to accelerate development and validation of our navigation, perception, and manipulation stacks. You will lead the creation and maintenance of high-fidelity simulations for testing, synthetic data generation, and reinforcement learning applications.

 

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years developing simulation for robotic systems

  • Experience with Mujoco and NVIDIA Isaac Sim

  • Strong C++ software development skills

  • Experience building simulation for navigation, perception and manipulation tasks

  • Familiarity with generating and validating synthetic datasets

 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Python experience

  • Experience integrating simulation frameworks with reinforcement learning pipelines

  • Knowledge of multi-modal sensor simulation (cameras, lidar, depth sensors)

  • Experience tuning simulations for realism and performance optimization

We need to deliver v1 of an indoor navigation stack (mapping + localization + planning + control) by December 2025. You will own that charter end-to-end, from algorithm design through on-floor validation.

 

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years shipping real-world navigation on mobile robots (warehouse or factory preferred).

  • Planning, trajectory optimization and control for wheeled, indoor robots.

  • C++, software development, software design.

  • Comfort debugging on-robot, log analysis, field testing.

 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Python

  • Deployment of lidar and/or vision-based SLAM or tightly-coupled localization.

JOB SUMMARY 

Elevate Robotics is looking for an Electrical Engineer with proven hands-on capabilities and a strong practical background. We are primarily interested in candidates with prior implementation experience in robotics hardware but will consider EEs with electromechanical/controls design experience. In this role, you will rapidly develop, test, and iterate electric systems from ideation to delivery, including printed circuit board assemblies, wire harnesses, test hardware and firmware, while considering cost, DFM/DFX and compliance issues. 

Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems teams to conceptualize, specify and implement a novel robotic manipulator 

  • Prototype electrical systems at both system and board levels 

  • Generate design documentation such as schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams, and assembly and cable drawings 

  • Analyze circuits and electrical systems for thermal, power, and other performance factors 

  • Specify and select electrical components such as microcontrollers, servo drives, sensors, and safety systems for robotics and automation uses 

  • Design systems compliant with safety standards and regulatory requirements 

  • Convert prototype designs to custom circuit board specifications  

  • Capture electronics schematics and generate PCB designs for manufacturing 

  • Create and execute validation and acceptance test plans for intermediate and final products, including test fixture design and software development 

  • Participate in debugging and root cause analysis related to hardware and software defect resolution 

  • Interface with internal and external manufacturing teams to enhance design for test, manufacturing, and assembly 

  • Identify and develop new technologies including innovative power, motor, control, and sensing solutions   

Must Have 

  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant industry experience 

  • Very strong electrical engineering fundamentals 

  • Familiarity with electronics lab tools 

  • Experience with simulation tools (ex: LTSpice, PSpice) 

  • Excellent communication (verbal & written); will be expected to develop detailed build assembly instructions and diagrams 

  • Proven experience designing, prototyping and debugging PCBs 

  • A positive attitude and a strong interest in learning new ideas and skills 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and engineering discipline 

  • Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple deadlines 

  • Great team player able to perform within a dynamic start-up environment

Elevate Robotics is looking for a Project Manager with technical background who is interested in working with a fast-paced and high-growth team. Our perfect candidate is very organized, communicates well in all mediums, and can manage the day-to-day team operations using readily available tools. While prior experience in a startup environment and/or heavily technical team are a plus, we are open to any experienced project manager who can fulfill our requirements. In this role, you will play a key part in rapidly developing and iterating robotic systems, bringing concepts and prototypes to customer delivery. We are a small, lean startup, so your work will span a variety of tasks, from owning the team’s schedule to procurement and fulfillment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for robotics development and deployment.
